This is the page for writing Multipart Questions
¶ Navigating to the page
- From the Dashboard, go to either the Homework & Quizzes tab or the In Class Exercises tab
- Create a new Exercise or edit an existing exercise
- From the Edit page, Click New → Multi-Part
¶ Using the page
This page is similar to the various single part question writing pages. It is used to define information shared across all of the question parts and to create and order the parts of the question.
¶ Preamble
The Preamble input is the same as the Question input for other pages. The preamble text will appear before the question text for each question part.
¶ Data
Multipart questions support Datasets, Variables, and Formulas; they are accessible from every question part.
¶ Add Part(s)
This button row is a simplified menu that is found on the Edit page and Pool page. The same navigation can be used to access the question part writing pages.
¶ Preview
This preview will show every part that the question contains
¶ Examples
This is an example of a multipart quesiton with multiple parts.
The Preview will show the preamble text first, and follow it with the correct answer preview for each of the parts.
When students answer these questions, they answer them one part at a time. To see how each of those parts look in this format, they can be viewed individually in the question part list.
